1.Types
Various types of shaped profiled wire such collector or trolley wires are also produced . They have many applications in production of DC/AC motors and trolleys for railways . Almost every shape can be produced under the desired tolerances. The raw material can be either pure copper or copper with silver ( 0,03 or 0,1 %Ag)
2.Material
Oxygen Free High Conductivity Copper Rods manufactured at Copper wire plant using "Dip Forming" technology. Chemical composition is in accordance with LME Grade A specifications. A low Silver copper alloy ( 0.03 and 0.1 % Ag) produced in Dip forming plant is also used as a material for collector and trolley wire.

Resistivity : max. 0.017241 micro (at 20°C)
Tensile Strength : 220 - 250 N/sq.mm ( soft) , 250 - 300 N/sq.mm( 1/2 hard), or > 300 M/sq.mm ( hard)
Hardness : upon the temper

Maximum Cross-sectional Area : 125.00 sq.mm

The Corner Radius shall merge smoothly into the adjacent flat side and shall be free from sharp, rough or projecting corners.
